Yes... since the British ones are still in season, I think a radish may be the new odd-shaped-space-in-the-box-filler du jour.
I may branch out and try these pickles (http://justbento.com/handbook/johbisai/sweet-sour-and-salty-instant-radish-pickles), but they're great as is.
Also, for not terribly clear reasons we own a device for cutting vegetables into spirals. I have never tried it. I wonder if it might work well on radishes, maybe I can do something useful with spiral radishes...
